My Doula Journey

My path to doula work began in a very personal way. When my best friend asked me to support her during birth, I said yes without hesitation...and quickly realized how much there was to learn about truly showing up for someone in that space. What I thought would just be supporting a friend turned into something much bigger. Being present for her and her partner, holding space, and witnessing her strength showed me just how powerful it is to have someone by your side whose only focus is you.

Since then, I’ve had the honor of supporting multiple families, and each birth continues to reaffirm that this work is not just something I do, it’s something I’m deeply called to. Birth is powerful, raw, and life-changing, and I consider it a privilege and honor to walk alongside families as they welcome new life.

When I’m not supporting families, you’ll find me at home with my husband and our cat, usually immersed in a creative project. I love sewing, arts and crafts, and thrifting. There’s something magical about finding beauty and purpose in unexpected places. That same creativity and care shape the way I support the families I work with.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: you deserve to feel nurtured, empowered, and supported through one of the most transformative experiences of your life.
